"And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation." (Acts 17:26)
When the Apostle Paul came to Athens, he did not come as a sightseer, but as a soul winner. When he stood in the midst of the Areopagus (the hill of Area, the Greek God of war) he spoke to the people concerning an altar with the inscription: "TO AN UNKNOWN GOD" This unknown God, is the true God, who is the governor of the universe, who made all men of the same blood, and the same stuff.
We may be different in some ways. But we all have souls that need to be saved by Christ Jesus. When Paul talked about not being ashamed of the Gospel in his letter to the church in Rome, he said that "it is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16) Everyone who believes. No matter our race, color, family background, education, financial status, or social status, we are all sinners, who need a Savior.
And as Jesus said in John 3:16; God so loved, (not just certain people) but the world, and sent His Son Jesus, to die to save the world. Whoever believes in Him, shall find salvation. We may be different in the minor things, but we are the same in the major things.
Today, we need to understand the mission of God, towards man-kind, and show His love to all, no matter who, or what they may be. GP
