Without a doubt the church today is" being led away by the error of the wicked." I boldly say that the church is living in dangerous days. Why? because we are letting Satan rob us of the Word of God. The same lie that he told our first parents in the Garden of Eden, he is telling us today. "For God knows that in the day you eat of it (the forbidden fruit) your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5) To follow our own passions, instead of the principles of God's Word, has led us down a path of compromise, and destruction.
Everyone is saying: "The church is in decline these days" Attendance is way down, there is division, and today the church looks like a mall instead of a hospital for sinners.
Brethren, we are under attack; and unless we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (having an understanding of His person, His love, His will and purpose, for our lives) we will be vulnerable to the enemy's attacks.
Together as Christians, we must stand on the Word of God. We are to never compromise in what it says. Let's stand fast for Jesus Christ, and His will for His church in these challenging days! GP
