It cannot be emphasized enough the importance of teaching children the Word of God. If we want them to have a firm foundation to stand on in life, the Bible will provide it for them. It begins in the home, and is extended at Church. How Timothy was able to be a spiritual leader at such a young age, was due to his background of being taught the sacred writings of God's Word. His grandmother and mother was such a strong influence on him. I am sure they made sure he knew the Word of God. I say to parents, grandparents, Sunday School teachers, youth leaders, what you are doing in teaching children the Bible principles, is the most important endeavor there is. To have our young people wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, is the best possession they could have. It will get them through this life, and to a safe arrival to their heavenly home.
