"Trust the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6) Worry over trials that come, can be very overwhelming. It is very very hard to think that everything is going to be OK, when everything is definitely not OK. When you look around and all you can see is a thick fog of complications, you find yourself walking in uncertainty and despair. What is needed at the time of realization, is for one to take that moment to be silent, and say a prayer of thanksgiving for God's love and care, through the tough times up to this point. In other words, one needs to take a look in the rear view mirror of their life, and think, and express thanksgiving for all the times God took care of them through past trials. Then with those memories in mind, one needs to stand on the promises of God, from His Word, that He will continue to work things out for their good. (Romans 8:28) If God was faithful in the past, He is going to be faithful in the future. Trusting God with all of our heart, is not allowing one speck of worry to cloud our thinking, and cause us to panic, when trials surround us. We need to enjoy the peace that comes from knowing that God will be God (Psalm 46:10) He will always have our best interest at heart, and He will keep us, today, and forever! We can count on that! GP
