The upward way for the Christian is much more of a lighter way, than a person living for the world. The weight of sin, guilt, and disappointment is taken away. There may be the weight of sorrow, but sorrow is taken away, when we realize the blessings that God has for us.
The upward way, is a way of peace, and confidence, as we are never worried about the future, and what lies around the corner. The sheep may travel down some treacherous terrain, but they don't worry, because the shepherd is with them, and will help them find the green pastures.

We cannot make too many demands upon our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ. There is nothing that is too hard for Him. So pursue the upward way with Jesus. Let Him free you of the weight of this world, that is holding you back. Let Him help you rise to new heights, to experience a freedom that you have never felt before! GP
