Until Jesus Returns

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. (Titus 2:11-14)

No one knows when Jesus will return except for our Heavenly Father (Mt 24:36) As Christians, we have begun our preparation for Jesus' return, by accepting Him, as Savior and Lord of our lives.

That being said, we must go forward and lead lives avoiding ungodliness and worldly lusts. We are to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present time.
In essence, we are to be like a bride waiting for her bridegroom, standing in purity, sincerity, and anticipation.

Jesus Christ is to be the focus of our lives. We are to work at being ready when He returns, and at the same time, watching in great expectation and joy, for His coming. We are to be patient and productive.

 When Jesus returns will He find the three things, that are the three greatest things in the world? Faith, Hope, and love? Will He find us loving Him, and not the world? GP
