God And Homosexuality

The book of Romans tells us that homosexuality was practiced back in the time of the Apostle Paul. He writes about how God dealt with those who practiced it in the Gentile world "For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use of what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due." (Romans 1:26-27) Homosexuality is the extreme act of self-indulgence, and disobedience to the natural plan of God. Paul described it as "Vile", and "Unnatural" Although God loves the people who are involved in this "vile" activity, it is sin, and will reap the judgment of God. But anyone who repents, and turns away from it, and turns back to God, will be forgiven. If we turn to the Creator, and accept His plan for our lives, we will be blessed spiritually and eternally.
God does not hate those who practice homosexuality. He hates the sin, and in His time, will judge those who continually participate in it. Our role as Christians is to reach out to those involved in this activity, and share with them God's love, and His plan for their lives. (Galatians 6:1-2)
