One Sunday morning, not long ago, three men crawled into the cockpit of a strange looking spaceship, which was strapped to a giant rocket at Cape Kennedy Florida. As the entire world watched in fascination, the countdown for the spaceship Columbia began. Never before had a spaceship taken off from earth, orbited the globe, and returned. It took an awful lot of power to make this happen. David said in Psalm 62:11 "God has spoken once, twice I have heard this, "that power belongs to the Lord." God's power is available to help us in many ways.
I want to list three areas of need.
1. THE NEED FOR SALVATION (Romans 1:16)
2. THE NEED FOR STRENGTH (Isaiah 40:31)
3. THE NEED FOR STEADFASTNESS (Jude 24)
Ask the Savior to help you, comfort, strengthen, and keep you.
He is willing to aide you, He will carry you through.
There is power to be what God wants us to be.
