If He Doesn't Know You, He Can't Grow You!

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:21-23) Of all the words that one would hear, these words will be the most tragic of all. To hear the words of our Lord saying to us; "I never knew you" would be most devastating.
 My mother-in-law is very good with plants. She knows the different variations, the leaf or flower that each produces. And she knows how to care for each of them, which is a challenge, because they are different, in how much water, and sunlight they need. The will of the Heavenly Father, is that we come to know His Son. Not everyone who says to Jesus, Lord, Lord, will be able to enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who submit to the wisdom, authority, love and care of the Savior (or divine gardener) will be able to enter the kingdom of heaven." If He doesn't know you, He can't grow you" He can't do the work that is necessary, to help us be ready when He calls us home, for eternity. Let's not only receive Jesus into our lives, but let's really let Him get to know us! When we do, our lives will be truly blessed, today, and forever! GP
